About this campaign

This beautiful basset hound Fy has been with me for 8 years. He was abandoned in a dog park by previous owners and I took him in. He is a happy senior dog at around 12 years old. He likes to go on walks to the beach and take big naps in the bed. We love him so very much and he makes our house a home.

Fyodor is the sweetest companion. He always knows when someone needs him and comforts us when we’re sad. He cuddles on the couch while we watch movies and always makes us laugh with his romping around. He always wants to know where we are and what we’re doing and often waits for us when he’s out in the yard.

He is so weird!! And delightful, he’s very smart and a very independent thinker. On walks he likes to go on smell adventures around the park and beach. He brings a smile to everyone he meets. Fy is a lovable goofball, he loves kids and other dogs and likes to talk and murmur to himself while he sniffs out new things.

Fyodor was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma and needs a lot of medical help. He’s having trouble moving around due to arthritis. We want to
pursue chemotherapy and the only thing standing in our way is finances. He wants to fight this and so do we. Our vet is the Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital at 968 East Eau Gallie Blvd in Satellite Beach Florida. The attending Physician is Michael McLaughlin.

Fyodor means the world to us. The only thing standing in our way to get him treatment is money. I am an archaeologist but I’ve been unable to work for a few months due to disability. We just need to get on our feet and we need Fy to get better.
