About this campaign
In 2021, Fyre was left at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society. However, because of how adorable and sweet she is, Fyre was adopted fairly quickly. Sadly, the family who originally adopted her were having some struggles of their own and returned her to the shelter 3 years later, but this time, GHHS noticed she was babying one of her legs that had a small lump on it.
GHHS monitored her closely until she was placed into foster care, where her new foster momma lovingly took her back and forth to vet appointments for a few months. It only took a few months of being in foster care until she found her happy ending. Fyre found her forever home, underwent surgery to remove the lump on her leg, and is now healing with the care and comfort she’s always deserved.
Fyre wasn’t just another adoptable to GHHS—she was family. She joined donor meetings, news discussions, and leaned in for ear rubs like her heart depended on it. Her love was quiet, steady, and unforgettable. Since GHHS covers all pre-known medical, they are covering the cost of Fyre's surgery and vet appointments.
GHHS is more than happy to help their sweet Fyre and all of the animals in their care, but the cost of surgery comes at no small amount, racking up over $4,000 in her medical bills. Please help them continue providing lifesaving care and second chances to Fyre and other animals in need. Thank you!
