Gage is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Greensburg, PA, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.

Gagey has a family that loves him more than we can express. We are a 3 human, 1 dog house. He was brought to us by a friend whose coworkers great dane had pupies. Dad was an english mastiff, but Gagey stayed smaller. Our "teacup" dane with the goober personality. Gagey filled a huge hole in my heart, as he came to us 3 weeks after I lost my soul dog.

We went to PAWS and saw Dr. Lamberski who found a large splenic mass & blood in his abdomen. Xray confirmed. Diagnostic ultrasound is in a few hours. If all is clean, the mass will be removed. If not, euthanasia will have to be considered- if it ruptures it will kill him. This grew quick, it wasn't there in January at his appt.

Gagey hasn't met someone he doesn't like. He is such a happy guy & huge part of our family, the constant in any storm. Countless tears have been shed into his neck, he keeps great secrets. He has grown up with my son. He is our best friend, our constant shadow. This mass may take that shadow away. We can't handle any more losses.

It has been a rough year. We both had surgery and depleted all resources. On April 16, Harley died in my husbands arms. May 19, I watched Alzheimer's Disease take my dad. I can't watch another being die in front of me again.
