Gambit is a 6 month old German Shepherd Dog in Mentor on the Lake, OH, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.

Gambit and his sister Echo have always been with me. I have their mom and dad as well, that had an accidental litter, despite my efforts to keep them apart during moms heat cycle. My belief is to not have them fixed until they hit hormonal maturity, and I didn't catch them before it happened this time. All of their brothers and sisters went to people who are close to me, so I still see them.

Gambit has severe hip dysplasia in his right hip, and is close to popping out his left one if he doesn't get the surgery he needs. His regular vet is gateway animal clinic, and this is where his xrays and exam were done.

Gambit is the sweetest puppy I've ever seen. He listens so well, so smart, so gentle and loving. He gets along with everyone and he's great with my young daughter and nephews. He just wants to be loved and be a normal puppy.

Things have been going downhill the last year. It would mean the world to me to be able to get gambit the surgery he needs to live a pain free life. He deserves a normal life with his sisters and parents.
