Garfield came to Paws 4 Life on 5/25/24 with a terrible injury to his front leg where it was just dangling :( and he wouldn’t put any weight on it. He showed up at a feeding station for colony cats looking for food. We immediately took him to the vet for veterinary care.

After Garfield was examined by the veterinarian, they determined he more than likely was hit by a car a fee weeks prior and as the injury was left untreated, it was becoming infected. Based on the vet’s recommendation, we made the decision to amputate Garfield’s leg.

Although we have only had Garfield a short time, he is a very sweet cat. He was obviously someone’s cat at some point as all he wants is love from people.
