About this campaign

Gaston and his sister Ariel were adopted from a local pet rescue about four and a half years ago. As a tiny kitten, it was clear that Gaston was going to grow up to be a big handsome boy. He certainly has and unlike his Disney character namesake, this big handsome boy is a big gentle lover.

Just before Easter of this year Gaston stopped eating and spent his time hiding in solitude. We visited Ashland Area Veterinary Clinic Saturday before Easter and discovered the problem to be in his bladder and kidneys. As I'm writing this, he is still there receiving IV fluids and monitoring kidney function.

Gaston and his sister have never been apart this long. They're always playing together and chasing each other around this otherwise kind of boring apartment. Now she just cries.

This very unexpected expense has come at a time when my personal income is very low. My young business relies heavily on summer tourism income. Ariel needs her brother back home. We'll figure out how to budget for follow up visits and specialized diet.
