Gator is a 3-year-old German Shepard Mix in Easley, SC, who needs $1,000 for Hip Dysplasia.

Gator is a Shepard/wolf hybrid, I rescued him from a small fenced backyard their where 4 other siblings and his mother. He had never been out of the backyard he only ever seen one human. He was terrified of his own shadow. After lots of work socialize the 100lb puppy Gator has grown to be a beautiful loving gentle giant. And a lover of all things baby.

Gator is my best friend, he is a lover and protector of all things baby. He watches over and takes care of all the other animals here at home from baby pigs, baby deer, to grandbabies, and baby puppies. There has to run a lot pretty much goes where he wants to, from lounging around the house to his favorite recliner by the barn. Keeps the coyotes away and our farm family safe.

Later was practically fair when I got in the 9 months old he was super intelligent and has since went on to become a registered service dog with the ADA able to preform all obedient requirements listed on the ADA requirements for service dogs. He's always willing to win The helping paw no matter the test at hand. He is a very old and wise so to only be 3 years old.

Gator was fine one day later was fine one day, and could barely walk the next. After a week's rest and not much improvement I took him to the local vet where he did a mobility test and diagnosed him with hip dysplasia and said he was in a lot of pain and referred him to and facility that was more equipped to diagnose the severity of his case I was surgery he would need to correct it.

I lost my fiance unexpectedly a year ago in a tragic event. Out of work and my vehicle broke down my financial situation went from bad to worse my home in foreclosure, adding to my grief. I have lost so much in this last year I can't loose my best friend too.
