Gauge came into my life 6.5 years ago. He was a rescue puppy and has been my everything ever since. Gauge is the sweetest mush ball you will ever meet in your life, he wants to cuddle and swim 24/7. He currently lives at home with me and his best friend kapone ( my boyfriends dog ). We have a newborn and nothing has been sweeter than seeing him protect and play with him.

Gauge loves to cuddle and sleep rite on top of you. He still thinks he’s a puppy, he loves to go on golf cart rides outside and play and chase everything in sight. He is nothing but mush and just wants to be loved on. He normally sleep in the room with the baby and I but since the diagnosis and the pain he sleeps in dads room with his dog and they cuddle eachother now

Due to COVID and having a baby, money has been tight. And I’m trying everything possible to keep my best friend here. He has got me through depression and anxiety and I just want to keep him comfortable and happy for however long we can keep him

Gauge started limping randomly about 3 weeks ago, I thought initially was a pulled muscle or tendon. We went to vet and they’d done X-rays and confirmed osteosarcoma in his left leg. We went today to specialist and they had givin me options on how to go about and I would like to start with ultrasounds and X-rays and lab work, but initially amputation and chemo are going to be next

Does anyone know if the pig dog toys for Walmart, well thinking that gauge would love them...I was rite. He LOVES them. It’s the one you he won’t chew up, he even sleeps with one of them. He has one in every room and in the front yard, back yard in every color. Everything he does makes me smile. But when plays with other dogs or goes swimming he makes laugh cause I know he’s having the best time
