Gauge is a 2-year-old Goldendoodle in Tacoma, WA, who needs $1,000 for Hospitalization.

We we excited to get gauge through our long time friends litter. Our parents also got a sibling and we were excited to make more family memories with dog siblings with us. At the time it was Christmas and we had a 5 and 2 year old kid and they were in love with the most red puppy out of the litter . We had a 6 year puppy at home ready to teach all the fun of our lives .

We like to say gauge check s on his chickens(our kids). Between waking up and going to sleep he constantly checks on the kids with a nudge of the now a hug around the neck and a kiss. He will lay in between 2 of us slithering as tight as possible. He loves camping, fishing, kayaking and getting trained in the backyard

It always comes to my mind that he will come up on my shoulders for long hug without touching my body on the way up at all so gentle and such deep loving hugs. He loves to play with his older brother dog and cat we got at the same time so they could be buddies. If you are up late in our house you will see gauge and the cat acting like two puppies it’s so cute

Gauge and our oldest dog fin got out and got hit by a car. Sadly we lost fin but gauge has broken pelvis, air in his heart chamber, blood in abdomen and multiple skin lacerations. He is at the veterinary clinic with different vet every shift. We are quite nervous for his journey now

We have a fixed income and high bills already due rot high daycare and house and car repairs . We need gauge home and able for us to love on him. It is mine 30th and my sons 5th birthday this weekend and we both hope for him home but I need help and am quiet stressed
