About this campaign

Our baby came into our life at seven weeks old. We live in South Carolina. It’s my husband and I. Gen Gen is our only baby. She is the smartest dog. She has a very wide vocabulary. Sometimes we have to spell around her. when we’re on the phone you can tell she’s sometimes listening to the conversation and knows when we’re talking about her, she loves car rides, and she loves traveling.

Gen Gen has been healthy until about 3 months ago. She went to the vet for her semi annual appointment. She has not been right since that day in Oct her urine has turned brown and her liver test have been coming back terrible. She was ref from the vet to an emergency room. They wanted to keep her impatient, but the cost would have been around $8000, we chose outpt treatment which has not helped.

She is the light of our life. My husband is a disabled veteran. Everybody is concerned about what would happen to him if something ever happened to Gen Gen. We are senior citizens and she picks up if we are not feeling well that day. She is so smart. She rings a bell. If there is something she wants, we have a bell hanging on the door knob.

We are on a fixed income. It would mean the world to us to have her healthy again. She had a ultrasound and does not have a tumor. She has either a bad infection or serious inflammation. Treatment could run up to $5000.
