Genesis is a 10-month-old Bully in Ozone park , NY, who needs $2,000 for Bowel Obstruction Surgery.

Genesis is a female pit bull (bully) she is 10 months old. Genesis came into my life when I was in a dark place due to the passing of Halo a 7 year old male American pit bull terrier on 9/5/22 and the passing of my dad on 12/5/22. She has brought so much happiness in to my life.

She’s vert sweet, energetic and quirky. She loves to do a little dance every time she sees her breakfast or dinner being brought to her. She loves to cuddle and go for walks in the park with her brother Milo. She’s very vocal and bossy, she will con you into giving her some your food.

Genesis has a very unique bark it’s Like a mix of a wolf, cow and owl. It’s so funny she usually does this when I’m eating or she wants to go outside or wants my attention. I call her a ballerina because she likes to jump and twirl when I have her food bowl ready to feed her.

On Saturday I noticed she was not her usual self but just thought she had tummy issues because she threw up once, but on Sunday she threw up even more and wasn’t eating. Today she got and X-ray and found out she has a foreign object lodged in her small intestine. I had taken her to an emergency vet on Sunday where she received fluids and anti-nausea medicine.

Since the loss of my father I have taken over the responsibility of our house and have been taking care of my elderly mom which I means I work part time and have a mortgage and bills to pay. I don’t want to loose my Genesis she has brought so much happiness to my life.
