George is a 11-year-old Blue Russian Cat in Bel Air , MD, who needs $500 for Emergency Treatment.

George and his sister Weezie were rescued from a hoarding situation. They were both under nourished and not well. I took them home and the veterinarian was not sure they would survive. Well it's 11 years later.

George is such a handsome, loving cat. He loves being combed, rubbed and treated like a king. He has been with us through 2 moves, including one across the country. He was unhappy when we adopted a puppy but has adjusted and puts his dog in his place.

Although George is a cat, he likes to lick you and sleep by your head. He picks on his sister and likes running around the house. He has a special place in our hearts.

George is not feeling well. He is lethargic, hasn't eaten, and has been under the bed for the last couple days. This is unusual behavior for him. He also seems to have an eye infection. My children are worried he is dying.

This week my water heater went out. It has flooded my basement and needed to be replaced. I'm financially tapped out from this expense but I don't want George to suffer and not get the car he needs.
