George Davis is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever in Plainwell, MI, who needs $3,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

George came into our life in March of 2020. He was born to a litter in Kentucky and sent to the Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo. He was fostered by a lovely family and at 10 weeks old he came home to us. We had previously adopted our other dog, Jaxson from the same organization and had a great experience. George was no different. He came to us FULL of personality!

George needs surgery to repair both of his hind legs. We are working with Gobles Veterinary clinic who specialize in orthopedic surgery for dogs. He is only 6 years old and has a long life to live.

George loves to greet people at the front door with a toy in his mouth! He has given many a teenage girl their first kiss...Georgie is definitely a lover!

We have adopted 3 dogs from rescue organizations. We are two disabled veterans who are just trying to make the world a better place. Varren is retired and works part time at a local hardware store and Stacey works full time in private practice as a therapist.
