George the Orange is a 6-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Saco, ME, who needs $2,000 for XRay, CT Scan, Rhinoscopy.

George the Orange is a 6 year old baby (got him 3 months ago), he’s very cuddly, follows me around, has to be laying on you. I got him from a family who said they can’t afford his current treatment (they were told he just gets sick once in awhile). He was taking OTC meds and wasn’t diagnosed with anything. I love helping animals in need, I used to take care of feral kitties around my barracks.

He isn’t too fond of other cats, but enjoys people very much & puts up with dogs! His passion is bird sounding toys, making biscuits, and watching other animals make fools of themselves while he sits in all his glory. He isn’t fond of high places like most cats, enjoys just being by your side at ALL times, even when you’re going to the bathroom, you can count on him monitoring your safety.

He likes to talk but only does it when he’s demanding something from you (or responding to you), don’t put your hand down when petting him, even if you have an itch, he will reprimand you for that by biting you ever so slightly but enough to get your attention, if he bites WHILE you are petting him, still don’t stop (contrary to popular belief) or he will bite you again for stopping.

We have been to six vets and I believe it’s time to get the x-rays, rhinoscopy, and possibly a MRI. He was undiagnosed when I got him, second vet we saw suggested feline herpes. He’s just now developed new symptoms, can’t walk, peed on me today, abscess on his nose, saw a vet yesterday (Mann memorial vet) but simply can’t afford 2-3k when I’ve already spent about $4k and we just got a new place.

Job change, moved away (had to get him out of a smoking household), been to six vets already (traveling job so a vet in each state I’ve been to), I can’t lose him. He’s my ESA as I’m sure I am to him. I can’t afford his scans but I’ve been up to date w/ everything else
