George is a 11-year-old Chocolate Lab in Vidor, TX, who needs $950 for Ear Infection/Large Mass.

George was a gift from Harry's daughter at 3 months of age. So, he took him in, and at the time he had another dog that taught George named Tasha. She taught him how to use the bathroom outside, and had such good manners, and how to go to the door to let Harry know that it was time to go out. Tasha was very protective of George until she went to the Rainbow Bridge in the sky.

George sleeps with Uncle Harry in his back room. Uncle Harry is 75 years of age, so both of them have grown old together. George also has Ranger the 10-year-old Chocolate Lab that also sleeps with them but is not as close to him as George is. It's like any time that Harry leaves his room and leaves George behind, George will start barking letting Uncle Harry know that He is left behind.

In his own way, he is still trying to take care of the family. It's like both of them, Uncle Harry and George are the men of the house and there is Ranger, Bella & LeAnna, to take care of. So, They are kinda old fashioned. and must be treated as such as they are doing such a great job of looking out for the family. lol

George has had many ear infections for the past several years, and right now we cannot afford any treatment. and now there is the mass that has grown on the left side of his body. it is so huge and I just know that he is in so much pain. I hate to think of losing him, and what it might do to uncle Harry at this time also.

We are both on a fixed income right now. I am undergoing weight loss surgery next month, and uncle Harry has retired as he is up there in age. I know that George needs a full check-up, his ears treated, and also x-rays on his body and possibly surgery
