Georgia is a 4 year old Great Dane in Manassas , VA, who needs $10,000 for Pneumonia Hospitalization.

Georgia came into our lives after we said goodbye to our 13 year old Dane, Chloe. She was the spunk of energy that we needed and we were the love and security she needed.

As with all of our girls, we co-own our dogs with our trusted breeder. She wanted to enter Georgia into a few shows and keep her in between. Long story short, she called me a week after the first show and said Georgia wasn’t right. I drove to Doswell, picked her up and took her right in. She had pneumonia. She stayed overnight at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital.

Georgia loves everybody. She welcomes any companion on the couch next to her and she becomes the companion whether welcomed or not:) She is, by far, the most affectionate dog we have ever owned. I swear she was the dog put on this Earth for one purpose and one purpose only: to LOVE.

She was readmitted to the hospital last Monday. She’s been on high flow oxygen and a ton of antibiotics to try to kick this thing. She has had ups and downs, as we are learning is common with pneumonia. We are coming up on an entire week of critical 24/7 care ❤️‍🩹
