Hello!! My name is Jacque, and I live in rural northern Iowa. The handsome orange feline you see pictured is Georgie. I don't know much about him, as he just appeared mid-May, because he was starving, literally.Since then he has CLEARLY gotten into it, as you can see from the pictures. He is absolutely the SWEETEST cat and loves my 4 year old and needs to see a vet BADLY, only I don't have the $.

Georgie keeps getting into fights with other animals and has sustained several large wounds to his back, eyes, chin, and right ear. What I would call his thumb has been partially severed somehow and is now excreting pus. His ear has a possible hematoma that needs to be drained. His are crusty really bad and he REALLY needs to be checked out by a vet and maybe given meds for possible infection

Georgie is attached to my daughter the minute she goes outside and follows her everywhere! He is so hungry for human love and he is CONSTANTLY at our feet for pets if we are standing still. We literally saved him from starving to death!! We need your help to make sure Georgie stays healthy, gets neutered, and is around for many more years. Without medicine I think infection will kill him.

I don't currently work as I am in the beginning stages of my second disability claim. It'll likely be 18 mon or more before I have a determination hearing. There's no way I could afford to get him looked at by a vet. It would be such a blessing if we got help to save him!!
