Gertie is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Windber, PA, who needs $2,000 for Insulin and Bloodwork.

Gertie was rescued along with her two brothers from a side street in a run down community. The boys were in good shape despite all having fleas and ticks, but Gertie seemed weak and lethargic. We weren’t sure she would make it a night but she pulled through and has had the happiest life since.

Gertie requires life-saving medication, biweekly testing, and checkups, all of which I am struggling to afford. This situation has led me to the difficult decision to ask for help, something I have never done before.
She has been diagnosed with diabetes and is going to Jtown Vet.

Gertie came along and had been the biggest support system a human could ask for. She is the sweetest and loyal, friendliest and laziest kitty to be! She has been thriving until these recent days.

I have been turned down by seven jobs in the last year and suffer health problems as well. I was hired somewhere where they are now experiencing a hiring freeze and am currently looking again.
