Gessi is a 1.5-year-old male short-haired cat. I’ve had him since he was only a few weeks old—he came from a family of stray cats, and a friend brought him to me so he could have a safe home. He is an indoor-only cat and currently lives with me in my house in Shoreview. Gessi always has more than enough food and fresh water, and he’s grown into a pretty big, muscular cat.

Gessi has an ongoing injury on the tip of his tail. Since he was a kitten, his long tail has occasionally gotten caught in doors or been accidentally stepped on, which caused swelling at the tip. He now bites/chews at it, making it scab and reopen. It hasn’t become infected yet, but the vet said because he won’t leave it alone, it’s likely to eventually get infected, so they recommend removing it.

Gessi is the life of the party at my house, he's very friendly and playful, he has a bestfriend sushi (other cat) that loves and plays with him all the time, he's not your typical cat as cliche as that sound, he has behaviors that'll crack you up! (See Video) Overall hes just a fun time to be around and with his injury he's been down in the dumps especially having to always wear a cone.

I recently lost my job in the summer at a school, they shut down due to low number of students attending, so Ive left the education field and began indepently doing consulting, its beenn good enough just to pay bills and provide for my pets but not enough for surgery.
