Ghost is a 7-month-old American Bully in Indian Trail, NC, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Ghost or Ghosty, when he’s a Good boy, was born to our family pet, Storm on Memorial Day weekend last year. He’s the sweetest puppy and his mom’s best friend and they haven’t spent a day apart since he was born. Considering his traumatic birth, he’s thriving and He’s now bigger than his mom. Ghost has never met a stranger and he loves to cuddle with the kids and steal their snacks.

Everyone knows how sweet Ghost is. He is an attention seeker and loves to snacks and to be pet on. Our 9 month old love can’t help but to giggle when he’s around Ghost and he eats up the attention. Ever since he was involved in the hit and run, our family has been destroyed because he is not his lively self right now. He does still wag his tail profusely when you call his name of when you rub him.

Ghost is extremely special to our family because he is the only surviving puppy from his moms litter. Ever since he was born, they’ve been connected at the hip. They lay with each other to sleep every night and are the best of friends. She’s even taught him how to open the door of the kids’ play room to get toys when he’s chewed up all the ones he’s already stolen. He’s also destroyed a shoe or 7.

Ghost was hit by a car after running into the street and the driver left the scene. We live on a residential street and the driver was going twice the speed limit when he hit him. He has no internal damage but both hind legs are broken and surgery is needed to fix them so that he can go on to live a normal life. He is only a puppy and has so much life ahead of it. He is a survivor but needs help.

I’ve recently had to pay over 3k for his mom’s emergency surgery and hospital stay and combined with all other expenses and unforeseen costs, I cannot afford his surgery on my own. Ghost is such a huge part of our lives and we would be devastated to lose him.
