About this campaign

My girlfriend Sabrina and I adopted Ghost in 2021 from the Cantu Foundation. He was diagnosed today with lymphoma. He's lived with us in San Diego. He as a rough start in Baja Mexico. He was a left chained up in someones backyard and was a rescued by an angel neighbor. The foundation nursed him back to health. We fostered him for weeks and the moment I saw him, I knew he had to be adopted.

Ghost has regularly joined us on sailing adventures as far as Catalina Island. He loves hikes and has been all over Mammoth Mountain as well as Hauser Wilderness and most of Cleveland National Park. He sleeps with us most nights and comes up to me in the middle of the day asking for walks at the most inopportune time. He doesn't understand work from home.

Ghost's smile and gentle demeanor defies every stereotype of his breed. He enjoys long naps and rolling around our apartment. He is known for carrying his leash and obediently walking himself. Whenever we have taken him sailing he lifts his head high to take in the sea breeze. He's got more nautical miles under his belt than most humans. Never once seasick.

Today March 23rd he was diagnosed with lymphoma after we discovered several swollen nodes. We were referred to a oncology hospital Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego Dr. Brenda Phillips. Our normal veterinarian Point Loma Veterinary Clinic initially exam-ed Ghost. The specialist will be performing the chemotherapy.

In 2020 I was made aware by the IRS of a fraudulent 2010 return filed with my social security number and a unknown name claiming 4 dependents. This balance after the IRS rightly determined I have no children, has swelled to over $105,000. My bank was levied.
