About this campaign
I first saw Gi Gi at the SPCA Macy's Holiday Windows. I was looking for another cat to accompany me and my other cat Gilbert, as I felt like he was getting lonely. So I asked if I could meet her and I loved her immediately so I adopted her. She's been living with me and Gilbert since.
Gi Gi is a very sweet and affectionate cat. She is not shy and is friendly to everyone she meets. She is also playful and likes to run around and play with my other cat.
Gi Gi is also very curious and likes to explore. Plus she has the loudest purr and seems to always want to be around you and lay on top of you at any given chance.
I took Gi Gi to the vet because she was urinating blood and was noticeably uncomfortable when using the litter box. It was explained to me that she has a kidney stone. While she is on a special diet, it hasn't dissolved or shrank. And without surgery it could lead to more health problems. She is being treated by Dr. Battle at Arguello Pet Hospital in San Francisco, CA.
I was recently involved in a crisis that was very costly. And since then I have been struggling to make ends meet. However, I still want to be able to take care of Gi Gi and make sure that she is a happy cat that is without distress and is healthy.
