Gia is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Lake grove, NY, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.

Gia is a rescue from New York Bully Crew. She shares an apartment with her sister, Ginger, who she was litter mates with. She lives with her mom and dad in the apartment and is the happiest girl in the world. Constantly full of energy and will do anything for attention and love. Truly the best girl!

Gia was taken to Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, located in East Islip, NY. They found her white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets were extremely low when they conducted a blood test. They preformed an ultrasound on her abdomen and found a mass on her spleen. They took an aspiration of the mass, but it came back inconclusive. A Splenectomy is required to biopsy the mass.

She loves her sister Ginger so much. They love playing and taking naps together. She is always looking for love and attention. She’s amazing with other dogs and everyone. She loves her dad so much and will always have her eyes on him.

This is a sudden major expense that we both didn’t prepare for. Gia declined so rapidly, and with all of the tests she has already had, and the very expensive surgery it is a very large burden on us. We would do anything to see Gia happy and active again. She is a gift to us
