Gideon is a 4-year-old German Shepard in The Acreage, FL, who needs $2,000 for Gastropexy.

Gideon was a rescue we adopted 4 years ago. He has truly been a blessing in our lives. He came at our sons lowest point in his life health wise and slowly helped our son regain independence.

He is our sons companion and service dog. He is training in alerting for our sons medical episodes, he is beyond essential to our special needs son life.

Gideon has the best temperament, even being in massive amounts of pain he walked himself into the hospital he did not for one minute stop trying to keep our son his priority even though he clearly was in major distress his self.

This was an Emergancy Gideon went to two hospitals over night 12 am to 3am until we found a hospital who could preform the life saving operation that Gideon required. After he was rushed to Veterinary Emergancy he was transferred to MedVet, Jupiter, underwent extensive examination, confirmed that Gideon has GDV and possible spleen rupture, he required Emergancy surgery Gastropexy & Splenectomy

I care for my special needs son am on a fixed income considering I work from home and now having to care for Gideons 8k vet bill. I am asking for any assistance towards his current bill which is covering the X-rays, bloodwork, surgery, icu stay, physical therapy’s.
