Gigi is now almost 7 months old. Found her on Facebook. We lost our beloved poodle of 10yrs due to an enlarged heart and had to put her down. She was suffering. I missed her so much that I decided to bring another home. Gigi joined our family July, 21, 2019. Such an adorable baby at 2.5lbs and 9 weeks old. She is a playful, energetic,, happy and extremely friendly! She loves everyone she meets! She loves going on walks and meeting new people! She is my most lovable baby❤️. She’s been having problems holding her urine. It leaks all the time. She does squat to pee. Just adorable! Got her from a young couple who barely spoke English. It was a 2 hour drive. About an hour into our ride back home, she was starting to wet my clothes in her sleep. We stopped at a rest area to give her exercise and potty break. She and we were back on the road. I forgot to ask seller for her birthdate and the seller blocked me. I found that odd. When we got home I found that she still peed during her sleep. I know that’s not normal. Nevertheless, I still loved her. I started to examine her body and noticed her vaginal area didn’t look right at all. Very concerning but she was happy and played the rest of the day. Took her to the vet the very next day . The vet (Coyne Vet) was upset with me. Said that Gigi was in immense pain and is a very sick puppy! Also that Gigi has an ectopic ureter and wound need to see a specialist. She would need surgery to correct this. I was referred to Purdue Small Animal Hospital in West Lafayette, In. Julie from Urology called me and informed me of what to expect and the cost would be $3000. 1 st visit with X-ray is $1000 and corrective surgery would be done the very next day for $2000. She was too small at the time and suggested to wait till she was 6 months old, she is schedule Thursday , Dec. 5, 2019 @10:45 am.
