Gilmore Needs Your Help! Now!

Gilmore has been through more than any dog should have to endure and somehow she’s still fighting, but she needs our help.

Recently diagnosed with a canine venereal tumor, Gilmore underwent surgery to remove it. During the procedure, veterinarians discovered something even more serious: multiple cysts and tumors inside her uterus, along with a condition called hydrometra—a buildup of fluid that can become life-threatening if untreated. Thankfully, the team acted quickly. Gilmore has now been spayed, preventing further complications and giving her a better chance at recovery.

She has already begun chemotherapy and has completed two sessions, with two more scheduled in the coming days. Each step forward is a victory, but it also comes with significant medical costs.

Those long hours during her surgery were filled with uncertainty. Seeing her come through safely was an incredible relief. Now she’s resting and showing us just how strong she is.

Stray Dog Support is so close to covering her care, but still needs about $500 for the surgery, plus additional hospitalization expenses. Every donation brings Gilmore one step closer to a full recovery.
