Gimli is a 11-year-old ASH in Syracuse, NY, who needs $1,000 for Teeth Surgery.

Gimli came to me when he was 5 after being a rescued from the streets. When I first met him he wanted nothing to do with humans. My first big boy, Gene helped him come to trust us a little bit at a time. Now he's a super sweet, although still a bit shy. He has resting grump face and LOVES to eat. If it's a minute past feeding time he's right there to remind me.

Now though, after living in a household with two dogs and two other cats, he has broken out of his shell 10x. He meows for food and, although we have not seen it, we are 95% sure that he is the one that catches, eats, and keeps mice away. He loves to sleep with his boyfriend Gene. They are quite the adorable pair.

Gimli lives up to his name sake. If you're unfamiliar with The Lord of the Rings I suggest you make yourself familiar. He loves pets, but on his terms. He love sitting on the backs of chairs and would rather spend his time watching the other animals play than look out a window at this birds and squirrels.

Gimli had urinary tract problems. Those surgeries and procedures have set me back in the debt department. Right now I am trying to fund another surgery of his. He has really bad teeth. He is missing his front teeth which makes his little tongue stick out. Although it's super adorable his other teeth do cause him much discomfort.

I have been living paycheck to pay check for a very long time and I really hate to see my cat suffer. Even if he tries to hide it , I know him, as shy as he may be.
