My daughters 9th birthday was a special one, that’s the same day we got Ginger. She was so sweet and when we fist saw her we were immediately in love. We knew we wanted a dog and we asked my daughter what did she want to me her and she said she looks like a Ginger and that’s how we came up with her name.

For the first year Ginger was crate trained, we felt it would be easier to keep her in her own little cozy area. Now she sleeps with us as I am afraid to have her sleep by herself. She is a very energetic and friendly dog. She has neighborhood friends and loves to see them on her daily walks. She loves everyone.

Ginger loves to play ball. She’s still learning how to bring it back She always finds a stick and brings it back home. The bad pet is she will chew on it so we make her leave it at the door. Jazz music helps her sleep and she is obsessed with peanut butter and squeaky toys. She loves to crunch on ice cubes.

She started making a snorting sound like a pig, It seemed as if she had a stuffy nose, she even had a mucus kind of drainage from her nose Breathing is a struggle, she takes breaths from her mouth every few seconds.Not sleeping or eating well. I’m a single mom and In August I had breast cancer surgery and just finished radiation. I was out of work for a while which caused a financial hardship. I just recently started a new job so I’m slowly getting back on my feet but not prepared for something like this.
