Ginger is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Guilford, CT, who needs $2,000 for Herniated Disc Surgery.

We got Ginger from shelter when she was a puppy. She is 6 years old now and loves to go on long walks and run in our backyard. We got her for my daughter who was in 3rd grade then and she is now going into high school grade 9th.

On July 26th while trying to fetch her favorite toy Ginger let out loud yelp we ran to her to find out she was sitting on the floor and no longer move her both hing legs. We took her to emergency hospital where they gave us an option for immediate surgery which is expensive or euthanasia. We opted for steroids even after ER doctor not giving hope that it will work and brought her home.

Ginger loves going for walks and doing zoomies in the back yard. She likes swapping tissues from your pocket so you chase her down. Her favorite friend is her cousin Bruno big Alaskan Malamute. Very active personality and spoiled dog with love and affection

I currently have no steady income. I Uber to support expenses. Ginger is my daughter’s dog and very much part of our lives. She keeps everyone calm and grounded. Helping Ginger will make my daughter whole again, it will make our family whole again
