About this campaign

Ginger came into my life two weeks ago after spending six long months at a shelter with no one wanting to take her home because she was an adult cat. The moment I saw her, we instantly connected.
Since then, she's been my best friend, my emotional support, and the queen of the house. She's my only pet, and I couldn't imagine my home without her. I currently rent a apartment on my campus.

When Ginger first came home, she began peeing blood. The shelter told me it was just stress, so l followed their advice, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something else was wrong. I decided to take her to the vet for a full checkup, including X-rays and bloodwork.
We went to Kenilworth Animal Hospital, where the doctors discovered that Ginger has four bladder stones (high risk of blockage)

Ginger is my emotional support animal, she sleeps with me, follows me everywhere, and somehow always knows when I'm sad. When I cry, she comes to gently groom me, almost like I'm her kitten. She always wants to be brushed, petted, and hugged, and she gets along with everyone she meets.
Ginger has made my apartment feel like home and helped me not feel so alone after my dad passed.

Please I'm not a bad pet parent,! cover Ginger's food, litter, toys, and vet care. This $3,500 surgery is unexpected, and her insurance won't cover it because it's pre-existing. I have a job and am a college student, and even with some emergency funds, I can't cover it all.
