Ginger is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $1,500 for Cystotomy.

Our beloved Ginger came into our lives when my daughter was 5 years old and shortly after having to send our precious dog buddha off to heaven. My daughter being distraught from losing her best friend decided she wanted a kitty and not to replace her Buddha-boy. We adopted Ginger from a shelter the day we saw her. She was sweet and curious kitten told us she wanted our home to be her home.

Ginger started having issues urinating in Mar 2025. We thought perhaps she had just a UTI, however after antibiotics not working to clear up the issue we took the next steps of x-rays, blood work, etc. at S. Hills Animal Hospital. That revealed that she had three large kidney stones. We tried medicated food which hasn't' worked and re-done x-rays again months later - no positive change.

Ginger is bonded with my daughter and myself. We are her main people. She sleeps in my daughter's room/bed. I'm her favorite daily lap and petter. She is great with my boys and husband as well just with limitations. She's always had a spunk before now. Daily zoomies and playful character loving her dangle toys and the laser pointer. We hope to see her that way again - her current state :-(

The cost of her surgery is more than we can afford right now and would put us into a financial deficit. We have already spent over 1k to have medical needs addressed. We are currently a one income family of five. Any support would help us get the surgery she needs.
