Ginger came into our lives only 7months ago and has broken our hearts wide open. We rescued her from a T and T Pet rescue and everyday with our girl has been sweeter than the last. She was born in Stockton where conditions were quite poor for her and have done our best to give her a life full of puppy kisses, snuggles, and PLENTY of treats. While our girl is home, this journey has just started.

Ginger was rushed to SF Animal Medical Center on Friday, January 30th after struggling to breathe. Admitted in critical condition, she spent two long nights in the ICU undergoing bloodwork and testing as doctors searched for answers. X-rays revealed her lungs are severely diseased, functioning at only 40–50%. We are now waiting to learn whether she has Valley Fever or a different fungal infection.

Ginger radiates pure joy in a small body, silly, sweet, and endlessly curious! She is filled with so much love she doesn’t know how to contain it, greeting the world with boundless energy and wide-eyed wonder. Anyone who meets her & looks into her soulful eyes, knows how truly special she is.

Ginger is only 9 months old & has already been through so much. With emergency testing and ICU stays, her vet bills are nearly $8,000. We are deeply grateful for any support! Every bit helps Ginger breathe easier, heal, and grow into the happy, healthy life she deserves.
