In March of 2020, I was looking for a new best friend. My mom found Ginny, a 9 year old Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix. I brought her home on March 18th, 2020. Over the last four years, Ginny has become the best friend that I wanted and needed. She has the biggest, sassiest personality and is such a princess. She deals with arthritis in her hips, but enjoys walks and being outside.

Ginny loves everybody. She especially loves her grandma. Ginny goes on trips with me and is the best adventure buddy. She sleeps with me every night and refuses to sleep anywhere other than the bed. Even when there's no room, she will squeeze and make room. If you say the word "walk" she gets so excited and will put her harness of herself.

Ginny's personality is one in a million. She's a princess and loves to be treated like one. She could do laps around the yard or snuggle when you're sad. She can make you laugh when she's jumping in the ocean or licking your tears away.

Ginny has always been active but has dealt with arthritis in her hips. She has good days and bad days, but otherwise she's been healthy. A couple weeks ago, Ginny started vomiting and having diarrhea. After a few days, we went to the vet. They found mucus in her gallbladder and her liver enzymes were extremely high. She is still suffering and having more problems. We go to Two Rivers Pet Hospital.

I work two jobs but my with my bills, it leaves me with minimum left over. I've spent everything I have on Ginny and still have more to go. I'm left with $3 in my bank account. Ginny is my best friend and I can't stand to see her go. It would mean everything to save her.
