I adopted Giselle for my husband 11 years ago when he was going through a rough patch after losing his job. This gentle loving creature has traveled across the oceans with us several times and is the best support animal anyone could ask for. Unfortunately, she stopped eating a few weeks ago and we are so sad! She has never gotten sick before and if feels like we might lose our girl.

Our fur baby is a part of the family. We rarely say her name without using our last name. She nuzzles, gives me kisses on-demand, and goes to town licking my husband's bald head daily! We are convinced she speaks English secretly! Our 11 year old secretly hands out treats when we're not looking so she is a bit spoiled. In addition, she loves reggae music and Bob Marley is her fave.

Giselle has the manners of a southern gal! When she enters a room, she speaks first, gives you privacy on date nights, and greets everyone when they enter our home; sometimes, she might bring you a toy if you are a new visitor. Her specialty has been to convince non-cat lovers to love cats. In fact, it's now a rarity for us to talk on the phone without someone asking, "How's My Giselle?".

Three weeks ago, she stopped eating her meals. She has always been a hearty eater so we became really concerned as she has never needed to go to the vet for any illness; just her annual check-ups and vaccines. We've taken her to the ER and her regular vet and so far, nothing has been found but she now needs syringe feedings and medication to pep up her appetite. She is not taking that well :-(

My husband and I experienced job losses due to Covid and our daughter was recently diagnosed with medical issues. Our savings has been depleted after her care and multiple blood tests, urine tests, and x-rays for Giselle. Any help you can provide would be so appreciated!
