Gizmo came into my life unexpectedly, and my life got luckier when she joined me. I originally thought she'd be my housemate capturing mice, but instead she captured my heart. Gizmo came into my life when my marriage was ending, and she has carried me through some hard times in my life. I love her endlessly.

Gizmo has had a benign cyst for 3 years, but recently it ruptured and has started bleeding and smelling. This could be the beginning of an infection. She is currently on antibiotics and the vet has recommended she have this growth removed.

Gizmo is the sweetest cat, she is truly my buddy. She stares at me like I'm her goddess. Gizmo waits at the door for me to get home from work in the afternoon.

I live alone, support myself, and I'm recovering from a difficult year. As a teacher, I'm struggling to support myself. Someday this will improve when I get caught up on expenses and have my mortgage paid off. Right now it's very rough.
