Gizmo is a 10-year-old French Bulldog/Chihuahua in West Winfield , NY, who needs $700 for Dental Surgery.

Gizmo is a precious part of our family. He is a rescue from Tennessee. I adopted him from The Herkimer Humane Society to be a companion to my beagle. She is a puppy mill rescue. Daisy is her name. Gizzy is a tough little guy! He went through years of neglect but is the sweetest cuddle bug. Daisy and him have become great friends. Gizmo and Daisy sleep in bed with me. I crate them while I work

Gizmo has helped Daisy so much. He has shown her how to be a dog. How to go potty outside. How to eat slowly. Most importantly how to accept love. Gizzy loves to snuggle under the blankets. He crawls under and picks his head up to move the blanket over him. So adorable!!! Gizzy loves belly rubs, He flops himself into my arms belly up.

Gizmo loves to dig. When he gets outside he heads for the dirt. He’s a white and tan boy so dirt loves him. One of the cutest things he does is at bedtime. When we come in from our last potty break he walks straight upstairs and waits at the bedroom door for me. He then hits the blanket especially on the bed for him.

Gizmo was neutered at the Humane Society. He healed wonderfully. Unfortunately his teeth are very bad. The front teeth are rotten. The rest are covered in tartar. I was given an estimate of $600 to $900 for surgery to correct the damage to his teeth.

I have never done this before. I’m usually the one donating. I find myself with no savings because my husband lost his job in November 2022. I had to take part time work to care for my 89 year old mother. My health is declining as well. I just can’t seem to catch up.
