About this campaign

About 6 years ago in December it got about 13 degrees outside. That's cold for South Carolina. One day we noticed that we had ,not 1, but 2 mama cats show up on our front porch and they both began to give birth. We made them both warm beds and they stayed there and nursed the now 5 kittens. About 4 weeks later both mama's didn't come back. We had to take them in. We bottle nursed them all.

Gloves is a real gentle cat. We say he's dainty. In the litter box when he scratches he acts like he's an upper class cat. His meow is so quiet and soft. All the other cats love to cuddle with him. We love him so much. He wa really close with a cat we had before Gloves came into our life named Mittens. Mittens passed away about a year ago and Gloves was depressed for awhile and you could tell.

Like I said he's soft and gentle. It's like he's an upperclassmen cat. He loves to be petted and definitely let you know that he wants it done. He's a very clean cat. Constantly grooming himself. He's really soft and just a really pretty cat. We love him so much.

Gloves has started coughing the about 2 months ago and it's getting worse. We believe it's lungworm. Even though my cats don't go outside they still somehow got tapeworm. And we believe its moved to his lungs. I'm a disabled veteran and putting 2 daughters through college and taking care of my wife's family in the Philippines. I can't even afford an examination on him right now. We need helo.

8m a disabled veteran putting 2 daughters through school. We take of my wife's family in the Philippines. Things are just really tight right now and we really need some help
