Godfather is a stray who visited us a few months ago. We are currently caring for about 7+ cats who frequent our backyard so seeing him show up late at night wasn't a surprise. He looked a bit ruff then but he disappeared. He recently came back and has never left since. Due to his condition after a visit to the vet, he sleeps indoors and has his own room and litter box.

He is well received by my entire family because he is very docile. There is always someone there to feed him and let him outside if he sits by the backyard door. He is respected because he is a senior cat with an unknown background so we all try not to overstep our boundaries as to not lose his trust.

Well, he just seemed so helpless that he didn't care about anything but food when he reappeared. He can't meow so he just has a raspy gasp that reminds me of Marlon Brando in The Godfather which is why we named him that. We love that he has not left since because he knows there are kind people who feed and pet him daily and he is one of the two out of 7+ cats that lets us pet him.

He has a respiratory issue due to infected teeth so he can only eat soft foods. Because he is a stray, we took him to The Cat Care Clinic in Orange, Ca where we can get him checked for everything since we don't have any info on him and he is not chipped. He will be neutered, given a shot for Feline Leukemia Virus, have dental extractions, dewormed and be given nasal saline drops.

I am not currently working because I am a full time student trying to get into a Radiologic Technology program. I do make some money from selling stuff on ebay and offerup and from working on the cars of family members but I don't have income. I just want him to be healthy.
