We adopted Goose from the SPCA in 2025 from a domestic violence and neglect case. She is the sweetest dog and just loves getting cuddles with her parents. We are thankful to have been able to make Goose's time with us so much happier than her past. She slowly became less scared of other people and dogs, even warming up to our friends and her grandparents.

Since Goose was so neglected she was very food insecure and wants to get her paws on anything that seems remotely edible which was why she was in trouble. She ate something that obstructed her intestines, and surgery was not able to remove the obstruction. Goose was treated at Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital.

Goose really became part of our family even in the short time she was in our lives, she even got along with our cats! In a classic dad and dog scenario, Goose quickly won the love of her papa with her bottomless affection and love for cuddles.
