Gordito came to the rescue with his sister from down South. Gordito is at the rescue waiting for his forever home. He is well cared for and loved by all the volunteers who take care of the dogs at the rescue.

Gordito gets along and is lovable with all of his rescue family. He gets along with other dogs and is gentle and loving to his human caregivers. He loves to play ball and him and his sister can play all day. They are just full of energy!

Gordito’s loving nature makes him so special. He is easy going loves to play, sleep and eat like puppies love to do. You couldn’t ask for a better companion.

Poor Gordito was diagnosed with Leptospirosis which made him so sick and can be deadly. He needed to stay at the hospital for veterinary medicine getting around the clock care until he was finally out of the woods.

The rescue is a non profit organization that relies on 100% donations. They will take every measure to save any dog that comes to the rescue but the veterinary costs are high and the rescue needs help to cover an unexpected illness like this.
