Gracie is a 15 year old Dachshund in Las vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Physical Therapy and Chemotherapy.

Gracie was a blessing in disguise. Little did I know I need her as much as she needed me. My daughter said the fluffy one that looked like a teddy bear was the one. Gracie went home with us her new mom and dad. She went everywhere with us. If she couldn’t go in somewhere I waited in the truck with her. We had daily talks about everything. She became my most important little person.

Dr Nick took some x-rays. Sent them stat to a radiologist to read. Both Dr Nick and the radiologist agreed on the x-rays and said my Gracie girl needed to see a specialist. Dr Nick sent Gracie and I to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. I went to the specialty. That’s when I found out Gracie had bone cancer and her hind leg needed to be amputated followed by chemotherapy.

She loves to play games her favorite is to get me to follow her around in chase. At nap times she likes to burrow herself into the blankets but her favorite spot is at the top of my head in my pillow. I said as soon as I got the money I would call but instead I I sold something things took the money down and paid her surgery deposit. She will need physical therapy and chemo.
