About this campaign
In November of 2020, I was a victim of a brutal attack by my ex boyfriend. Life up to that point hadn't been nice to me whatsoever. The very next day, I found Gracie. It was like she chose me. Like she knew I needed her to love on and help me heal. She joined me and my 2 other dogs to complete my family. She's a goofy, sweet, rambunctious bundle of joy.
Gracie is the baby of the family and she knows it. She has her special spot on the foot of my bed that has been too empty without her. She's a little bossy with the older dogs but you would never guess it from how sweet she is with humans she encounters. We currently moved an hour away from our last home and you can tell it's been one huge adventure for Miss Gracie.
After moving 100 miles away from what was home, starting a new business, and reinforcing my fence in the backyard, bills are overwhelming right now. Not to mention the emergency vet visit Gracie and my chiweenie Libby needed last month because they chose to fight a porcupine.
September 11th. My poor sweet baby girl was left to die in the middle of the road. Luckily, destiny had other plans for sweet Gracie. I was able to get her to the Lewiston Vet Clinic just in time to save her life. Gracie was suffering from shock upon our arrival. After passing that hurdle came dealing with the brain injury, and then her bruised diaphragm along with her 3 breaks in her cervical area.
Gracie's best bud is my other AmStaff. His name is Riot. They are two peas in a pod. Riot is a lot bigger and stronger than her, so sometimes he does things that she can't quite manage. Her expressions are everything. I can't help but giggle when she comes to tattle on him for leaving her out of the fun.
