Gracie is a 7-year-old Tabby in Mays Landing , NJ, who needs $1,400 for Pre-Op Testing and Breast Cancer Surgery.

My daughter wanted a cat for a very long time. We were renting a small apartment at the time and I didn't know if our landlord would allow us to have a pet. To my surprise he did! We picked up Gracie from her best friend (her cat just had kittens, AGAIN). Gracie was the one kitten my daughter always talked about so when I finally brought her home they became inseparable

Gracie is a very bougie cat. She sleeps in a bed, preferably on the pillow. She loves feeling the warmth of the sun on her belly, that's when she stretches the most. Her favorite toy is a fishy, a stuffed animal which was torn apart and sewn back together so many times. We also have a dog, but she already showed him who rules in this house and "gently" advised him to stay away :-)

Her favorite person in the whole wide world is my daughter. They kind of grew up together. Whenever my daughter comes home from school she yells out for her. My son gets the "don't bother me, I'm busy " meow. Her meows are very specific towards specific people. She loves laying on ones shoulder and purr,she also loves belly rubs, but don't just let her, she will let you know when she's ready :)

We found a lump on Gracies chest. To me it felt like a bunch of hair under her skin, it felt very weird. When we took her to All Paws Veterinary Clinic she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She also said that she has a fighting chance, but she will need a surgery.

Vet visits, acute sickness and preventive vaccines are something pet owners should be ready for, what we were ready for. What we were not ready for was a life threatening diagnosis and decision that had to be made NOW. Please help me give my pet a fighting chance to live
