Gracie is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Prattville , AL, who needs $500 for Spay.

Gracie started showing up in my backyard and wouldn’t come near me. She was very thin and was hunting the chipmunks and squirrels. I started throwing food at her and she would wait for me to be at a long distance before getting the food. Then I started leaving cat food and water for her. After a lot of patience she eventually allowed me to start petting her. I was hooked.

I named her Gracie and she began to trust me. Now she demands my attention. She had what I believe is her first litter of 3 kittens. I was able to find a home for 1 kitten and I’ve kept the other two. I want to keep her but I can’t afford to get her spayed. Now she is pregnant again. I will have to take her to the humane society if I can’t get her fixed.

Now she is very clingy and every time I come outside she comes to greet me and get her belly rubbed. She loves our toy poodle and is quite playful with her. I would love to keep her if I could get her spayed. As it stands now I will have to find homes for her unborn kittens which I’m very willing to do.

I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford to get her spayed. I will have to take her to the humane society if I can’t get her fixed and I’d prefer to keep her even though she’s pregnant again now. I do give her flea and tick treatments. She is a part of my family now.
