About this campaign

Gracie came into our lives from a woman who reached out knowing we are animal lovers. She was an outdoor cat her entire life but after coming to us, she quickly became indoor/outdoor. She is snarky but gets along with dogs and cats alike without issue. She likes to sleep under my left armpit nightly and lay in the sun daily.

Gracie enjoys taking over the couch, lawn chairs, and any comfy space available. She is a little begger who loves cheese bits and tasty treats of any kind. Her voice is petite and she is not afraid to tell you her thoughts. Although our small dog is afraid of cats, she still hasnt given up on trying to snuggle with her.

This pandemic has placed us from a 2 income household to a 1 income household. With the savings gone and living paycheck to paycheck, I can't afford the imaging and blood work. It breaks my heart.

Last week Gracie was acting out of ordinary; being lethargic. We took her to the Parkland WA VCA Emergency Vet, where we were given antibiotics, and she had fluids. We couldn't afford the imaging. A few days of that and she obviously feels better but we don't know why she isn't walking much. She is wobbly and won't walk much. We would like to get her the x-rays and blood work.

From day one we had a bond with this unique creature. Nothing but love and affection. She will go in and out all day, and bring mice in the mornings...because we clearly can't feed ourselves. Daily head buts and drooling pet events are required. And don't forget a little taste of ANYTHING you are eating. She's a wonderful companion and I know we will never be lonely as long as she's here.
