About this campaign
Five years ago, Gracie's future looked uncertain. Sitting in an overcrowded California shelter with no adoption interest, this shy and timid Doberman was scheduled to be euthanized. Then everything changed. A loving family opened their hearts and gave Gracie the second chance she deserved.
Today, Gracie is facing another fight for her life. Gracie's parents rushed her to the emergency hospital after she developed a loss of appetite and bloody stool. After extensive testing, including radiographs, ultrasounds, bloodwork, and a CT scan, veterinarians discovered an intestinal mass. The diagnosis was devastating, and the treatment plan even more so. Surgery is Gracie's only chance for survival.
The life-saving procedure is estimated to cost $10,000—an overwhelming expense for a family already facing financial hardship. Thankfully, Paws 4 A Cure has stepped in with a $400 grant, but Gracie still needs additional support to move forward with the care she desperately needs.
Despite everything she has endured, Gracie remains the sweet, playful, and loving dog her family adores. She has become a cherished member of her neighborhood, making furry friends everywhere she goes and bringing joy to everyone she meets.
Her family says that while they rescued Gracie, it often feels like she rescued them. Now they are asking for help so they don't have to imagine life without her.
Every donation—no matter the size—helps bring Gracie one step closer to the surgery she needs. If you're unable to give, sharing her story can make a tremendous difference by helping her reach more compassionate animal lovers.
Your tax-deductible donation today could help save Gracie's life.
Thank you for being part of Gracie's journey and for giving this deserving rescue dog another chance to overcome the odds.
