About this campaign
My dog was given to me as my 19th birthday present. I have always wanted a dog and my entire family pitched in to get her for me. She has been my best friend and love of my life since then. I named her Granger after Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and it fits her perfectly.
Granger sleeps in my bed aka her bed and loves to be under the blanket. She loves to run. Her favorite thing is being outside and running as much as she wants. She loves her entire family including her dad, aunts, and her grandma. She even has sleep overs and her 13 year old aunts house because they live each other.
Granger loves chicken! It is her favorite thing in the world bedsides her family. Her humans are her best friends and she has a little cousin dachshund that lives with her. She has a big personality and makes her opinions heard. She may be a dog but she knows how to communicate. Granger loves to dig and it makes me happy and smile every time I watch her dig holes in the backyard.
Granger was recently diagnosed with IVDD. A disc in her spine slipped and is pinching a nerve not allowing the brain to connect to her back legs. She needs surgery in order to have the best recovery. Her favorite thing is to be outside running and going for walkies and without the surgery she won’t be able to anymore.
Unfortunately with the state of the economy and living in an expensive state our finances are limited. I am a full time student and only make so much. This was a medical emergency we were not expecting weren’t prepared for.
