Gravy is a 1-year-old Nebelung Cat in Brandywine , MD, who needs $2,000 for Fracture Repair.

One afternoon we walked outside and kept hearing meowing from the woods next to our house. We saw the tiniest little kitten with a big belly and weepy eyes calling out for us. We took him in, got him food and vet care and named him Gravy. He chose us. He asked for our help.

We recently lost our 14 y/o Lab who was Gravy’s best friend. They spent a lot of time together and created a strong bond. Since he’s been gone, Gravy has spent much time with us humans an his sisters that live with us. He is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met, after years of volunteer work and pet sitting, I’ve never met an animal much like him. Playful and kind, never mean or cruel. He’s a talker too

He is always talking to us. It’s almost like he knows English. He’s got a great vocabulary and a sweet disposition and always down for head bonks! Since he came to us from the woods he likes to explore them now and again.

This time, his explorations were different. He came back to us after 3 days of being out, not like him at all. He was meowing in the same spot he needed help from us the first time we met him. He has a broken arm and a few scratches.
We are hoping to take him to a VCA surgery center ASAP.
