About this campaign
I adopted Grayson 6 months ago. He lives in a beautiful home with me up in Lake Tahoe and spends most of his time chilling around the house. We used to go on frequent walks and hikes until his conditions developed. He’s very sweet and good with other dogs and has such a goofy character. He’s a very spoiled and loved boy who has been my Emotional Support Animal since I got him.
Grayson is very chill and enjoys spending his time lounging around the house. He’s an old dog at this point but I am thinking of getting him a companion when I am at work. He is super excited when people come over to visit and loves to interact with anyone who gives him attention. He really enjoys his treats and sleeping.
It’s been a really tough time losing my second job to Covid and being in and out of the hospital myself due to giardia and a knee issue caused by work. I’m also trying to relocate my mother who has dementia and suffered a stroke to the Tahoe area so I can get her assisted.
Grayson is a very healthy dog other than his severe arthritis and degenerative bone issue caused by an injury left untreated from his former owner. He is being seen by Doctor Sheet at Alpine Animal Hospital in South Lake Tahoe. I’m hoping to raise funds for his Tibial Plateau leveling osteotomy surgery.
Grayson got his first experience with snow this last winter. He loves running through it as fast as he can. He also got to experience a great summer spending time swimming and getting to know some dog friends. He’s a really happy boy that is truly getting to experience being a dog for the first time.
