About this campaign

Grimace was given to me when she was only 3 weeks old, her previous owners stated she was an accidental litter and they did not want her or her siblings. She was named by my nephew who is 3 when there was a big McDonald’s promotion on a milkshake and it just stuck with her. We currently live with my sister and she is an inside dog and always has been but she is little with a big personality.

She loves to sleep with me sometimes but she also loves to sleep in her own bed alone some days. We go for regular car rides and walks but nothing to extreme because she is always getting in to something she’s not supposed to be in. She is a very good girl potty trained and knows how to sit, stay, and roll over for treats.

She is very special to me and is the reason I wake up everyday, it’s like she can read my mind because she knows when I’m sad or when I don’t feel safe. It feels good knowing I have someone at home waiting for me to get off of work just so we can play because even on the worse days half a hour with her it feels like the bad day never happened at all.

Grimace recently had a high jump and landed incorrectly which caused her to create a radius and ulna fracture that requires surgery according to her primary vet, it cannot be casted or splinted without overlapping the bones which is not good for the future growth. She recommend surgery for metal plates, so we have an appointment on Friday November 17th at Arrow Animal Hospital on 51st Thunderbird.

I’m currently a full time student/employee making 16 an hour managing bills and loans which takes a lot of me mentally, & financially so I am very devastated with this whole situation and I know I am my pups whole life so I want to make sure I am using all resources out here
